Spring is springing

A four-day weekend and I am a full believer again! (No I’m not.)

Getting ready for a new season, winter seems finally to be on its way out. I don’t like the darkness; the cold I can tolerate it (I wear jackets double my weight) but not the whole day being over at 6pm. So yeah, I am definitely looking forward to some good old sunshine; and maybe I can finally go lower on those vitamin D pills. (Which reminds me, I am due my next blood exam… This new self-care journey sponsored by private health insurance is demanding )

The good weather is also a good excuse to start leaving the house a bit more often. I have now 2 trips planned for the near future. I am going back to Cork to see some friends and sort some small things out there. I will be travelling there between the 22nd and the 26th of May. I haven’t been in Cork since August 2022 and I am quite excited to go back. Hope to good catch-ups 🙂

And! I am going to see Girls Aloud in your in June in Liverpool on the 29th of June. Going to Manchester the day before, catch up with a few friends who live there and then head to Liverpool with my Girls Aloud aficionado all the way from Italy, just like 2013. That is also going to be lots of fun.

What else have I been up to these days? I wish it was easier to find time to do all the things I would love to. Reviving my stupid music blog; actually spend time on that videogame class I got from Udemy last year; playing more on my beloved Steam Deck (I did just complete Doors at least); write more on this blog even; or workout (I am trying!) Doing things is fun, but learning is even better. And for learning you need consistency, and for that you need time. And I wish I had more of that.

To using time better
